The Annual TPSCA State Convention is held in conjunction with the TPSCA All-Star baseball, football, and softball games. The convention boasts a tremendous lineup of speakers that make up both collegiate and high school coaches from around the nation and state. Discussion of private school sports are at the forefront of activity.
In 2008, the first convention was held at University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX with and featured speaker Mack Brown. The 2009 Convention was held at Regents School of Austin and had a multitude of speakers both from the collegiate ranks as well as high school.
2009 also marked the first ever state-wide all star games for private school kids in football, baseball, and softball. These games were played at the Westlake High School sports facilities and were simulcast on TAPPS TV.
In 2010, the decision was made to move both the convention and all-star games to June 18-19 in the Metroplex.
